On 12/14/2020 and especially today 12/15/2020, gmail has been having significant problems.
It is randomly responding with "The email account that you tried to reach does not exist."
It seems particularly bad when Amazon web services interacts with google servers, which is of course what we use.
That initially caused problems on Bareefers site, but that was fixed.
We turned off checkers for now.
But it gets worse....
If there are several errors like that in a row, Amazon blacklists that email address on their end.
We get "Amazon SES did not send the message to this address because it is on the suppression list for your account."
This is between Amazon and Google, so not a lot we can do until they get it resolved.
