I finally found the culprit. The pump inside the water change bin has 4 rusted screws!

Here's a picture of the 50-gallon tank before it finds a new owner.
I've recently moved to a new place and set up a 20-gallon all-in-one tank. Stay tuned for a new thread where I'll be sharing more about it.
I will be setting up a 100+ gallon tank after a few years when my second one goes to college :)
