Yea that’s pretty bad. I’ll help as soon as I am done at the office.

Eric mentioned he was going to get you my large stock tank he’s borrowing, I’m glad you noticed before catastrophe struck.

Crap! maybe look into resealing the glass after you're done emptying it?

I think 360Coralz can help do that... they've worked on a few other tanks I've seen in the past. Including their own.

I’ve no first hand experience with redsea tanks
To me, it just looks like an exposed black under gravel filter plate
Is the seam coming apart?
My sympathies
I have a Rubbermaid 150 if you need to use it

Holy crapola! So sorry but glad you caught it. Gonna call my tank sitter from the lake now….

Shouldn’t have read this thread while on vacation 200+ miles away

Wow that's a bummer, out of curiosity what other brands have ever failed like this if anyone knows?

My buddy’s Red Sea reefer 350 had this same issue. I like the look of Red Sea tanks but I would never buy another one. Good luck man. I have a few 50g bins if you need them

Yep, the seam was coming apart. The gap was big enough to allow grains of sand to trickle down into it.
