got this hitchhiker on a blue xenia colony a while back maybe 5 months ago?

it finally started to create some new mouths.. it creates the mouths then segments itself.

def not that favia. bryan said it might be like hte kongs eye favia.. i have something very similar to the green frost favia. this particular lps does not have skeleton like the kongs eye.. its really flat and the flesh extends like a blasto wellsi.

i haven't had this kind of lps where it creates 3-4 mouths on one polyp then seperates itself after the mouths are formed. it's neat watching it grow.
 
The splitting happens with favia, like the baby's breath. The single polyp of BB that I have is undergoing it at the moment. The larger single mouth is creating two smaller mouths.
 
splitting like that happens with far more LPS then just Favia Eriic :)
 
True. It was just an answer to Sam's experiences above. After reading the post, it seems as if it was implied that it couldn't happen in Favia...

Maybe I'm just reading too much into it.
