Found a store that sells nickel coated neodymium magnets for very cheap and I'm going to see about getting them encased in acrylic or something.

I need to order up some magnets soon, so if anybody wants to split some shipping... :D

I've fiddled with polyester resin casting and polymer clay for tank stuff recently, and neither was much of a joy to work with. I'll be trying out casting epoxy this weekend.

I couldn't get the magnet to have a thin enough area for the magnet to be as strong as possible so I made a well in acrylic just large enough for the magnet and filled that with resin. That way the bottom was as thin as I could get the CNC to do, well, 1/16" (by far not as thin as I could have gone  )

If you use a Sonicare tooth brush you can salvage the super strong magnets out of the worn out brush heads and use them.

Sonicares? Dude how many sets of mouths... ahhh... never mind :D
