Looked into algae socks. Only $5 but $7.50 to ship? Does that sound right? $12.50 seems expensive. Any easier way to buy them? Thanks
 
Steve, the best option is to piggyback onto someone's order. Likewise, you can see if he can just ship postal mail.
 
Yeah, it's one of those things, where they call it shipping AND handling. It'll arrive in a ziplock sandwich baggy with a "professionally printed by his computer" sticker attached to it.

However when I got mine he tossed in a free algae pad that's apparently a little more aggressive than the standard white ones. Just pay the $12.50, that sock works wonders!
 
Steve I have a box coming this week, what size were you planning on buying? I can part with one if you are interested, I bought several and can bring one to next weeks meeting for you.
