orange pvc safe or not

hello everyone i was thinking it would be cool to plumb my tank drain and return in orange pvc commonly used as fire sprinkler pipe and also i can get it for free is the real reason for use ball valves with unions and all the pipe im a plumber just cant find any real reason y i couldnt use it

thanks for the quick response and also u think the glue would work too or should i just stick with the normal purple primer and blue glue

cpvc uses different glues than pvc, while pvc glue might stick, I wouldn't count on long term adhesion. The CPVC shouldn't be any worse for your tank than PVC glue.

ty all ill get some cpvc glue too and also how would i tell if it was bad for my tank befor its too late and i plan on running tap water to rinse the system prier to filling with rodi and salt :)
