Why does my clown do this?

It hangs out in the bottom corner if the tank staring at the sand...is he/ she OK? Are they resting....preparing a nest? As soon as I approach the tank, it starts to move around the tank as usual....then head back down and invert itself again...

Honestly my clownfish does the same thing underneath my overflow box.....in the shadows.

He's an ORA aqua cultured clownfish and is the smaller/submissive one. My bigger wild oscellaris clownfish swims around and behaves normally.

I really dislike this behavior lol! He does come out to eat but....the rest of the time he does this.I wanted a fish....not a super submissive wimp.

Do you know if your clownfish was wild or aquacultured?

Not sure, got them both from Neptune about a month apart from one another...
