Would a Pulse Start 250W MH Ballast work on SE Radiums, XMs or EVC bulbs?

Thinking of getting a Pulse start ballast for SE 250w bulbs. Will it work on the above bulbs? Which ones would it not work? TIA
 
XM bulbs are designed to run on M58 ballasts out of the group IMO they are your best bet (except the 15k which is garbage).

Ushios also run very well on m58s as well.
 
Radiums are best run on pulse start magnetic ballasts. They also fire up on electronic ballasts but the spectral balance shifts towards blue because they are underpowered. Except for 400w Radiums all the other wattages draw more power than rated. The 150w Radium burns at 228w on a m81 ballast! I want to run Radiums on my tank so did a bunch of research on other boards to get the info.
