There are many volunteer opportunities that entail physical activity and movement. You can help your community and burn calories. Do your counting in reverse. Instead of counting up to the number of reps you want to do, count down from them. It actually makes your exercise sessions appear to be less hard or long, since you are giving yourself the luxury of smaller increments of time. It is also more motivating when you tell yourself there are only a few more left to do. When you are using a bench, test the sturdiness of it first. Apply pressure to the bench with your thumb to test for adequate padding. If you are able to touch the hard surface under it, go to another bench.
