Hello everyone, im a reefer in Merced. Im about to set up a new tank and refresh the hobby after having some issues. @tribbitt told me to come here and join the community!

heres my tank when it was at its best then came alk swings and nutrient issues that i was having troubles fixing

heres my new setup,I decided to get a major upgrade to a 40 breeder paired with a trigger sapphire 26 sump. I'll be making a tank thread for it

What lights are you running? From the picture I see lots of shimmer. Congrats on the upgrade. Though how the hobby progresses lol it may not be the last upgrade. Good luck and look forward to meeting you at one of our events.

im running a kessil a160 from my last tank for now. definitely upgrading lighting, wave makers, and getting some rock in there. and im not done upgrading tanks haha i need a 150 some day

just tired of having a small tank. ive been wanting something bigger for awhile now and just pulled the trigger. i honestly hated my rock work and wanted space for more corals and space for them to actually grow.
