Elephant slugs (I think) and are PIF

Hi all-

I am just clarifying that the species in the pics are these below,



I had a few but now suddenly they have exploded in population. They do a good job grazing and don’t bother corals.

I just have too many I think??? I counted 14 at a min and they get big!
Anyway -if anyone is interested -let me know and you can have a couple for free!

Looks like elephant slugs to me.

I would be careful, I’ve read mixed results regarding reef safe compatibility. From my experience, I added a couple to my nano tank during its “ugly phase.” They ate all the algae but then started munching on some SPS. I came out one night to find one feasting on an Acro (see below). After that, I removed all but one, which I banished to the sump. I still spot him now and then, they’re super cool creatures.

Good to know. Thanks for sharing. I’ll keep an eye out but most of the time they’re just hiding.

I have never seen one munching on any coral and j have a ton of them
