I’ve sounds like a good start, for accurate temp readings look up an inkbird on amazon. For test kits I recommend salifert (calcium/mag) and Hanna (alk/phosphate) nyos for nitrate.

Update on tank: took @Coral reefer advice an started feeding more and got my nitrates up a bit and corals are looking more colorful and happy. I have now collected a bunch of Sps frags from DBTC and also some I’ve purchased on my own. So far they have grown some and have colored up in the past...

Welcome! Yeah the beginning is always hectic but most fun. You get to piece out everything and custom it to the way you like and works for you. Good luck on the build keep us posted .
