Yes, I can see that happening! recently I've been turning a fan on near my tank to help cool it down. Its been using 2x as much ATO water as normal. Good idea! I'll have to do more reading on kalkwasser. Most of the coral in my tank as softies, so the demand may not be as high.

I was thinking about adding kalkwasser in my ATO jug but I can see how this might pose a problem due to excessive heat. possible to over dose?

So what is this weird tentacle thing?!?! A stinger defense? I tried to pull at it out of curiosity and its very tough and retracted back into the coral. Should I be concerned? A duncan is close but not touching it.

Thanks for the kind words! I might have to look into the diamond goby - i just looked up some youtube vids on them and the seem very active and sift sand very well. Are they aggressive from your experience?
