It’s just so confusing. Now that I know my tank is at possibly 40ppt I would think that the new corals I got from @ofzakaria would have died going from his 35ppt to my 40ppt. I’ll contact some of the San Mateo reefers to test my water.

It says it’s Silver electro-galvanized, resistant to rust but it does say it has a paintable finish surface. If I were to paint it what would be the best product?

Decided to upgrade the light hood over the main tank. Should have done this when my dad was alive but I didn’t think about it until now. I used strut channels/parts to make this a floating hood.

Has anyone used a GHL controller for this type of project(coral spawning) or has it only been APEX?

That’s why I said supposedly. It’s working for me right now. But you never know they might change there mind and start to go after coral.

If they are female you should keep them. Supposedly females don’t go after coral. I have a all female crew for the past year or so and haven’t they haven’t bothered any coral.
