    Metal Halide

I’m actually passing my fixtures onto Erin because I think I’ve finally weaned myself onto leds, and I really need to clear out some space. And these are DE, 250watt, but I think 150watt will also fit(?) just need to make sure the ballast is dialed down. I actually ran my 250 bulbs at the 150...

    DBTC: Hawaiian anemone

Happy to see there's interest in these. @Arvin R and @dochou, the one I had is spoken for, but I'll update this thread when/if I have another one available, and you guys are first in line.

    DBTC: Blue Kenya tree

As with the toadstool, I don’t have this frag anymore, but can get you a small fresh cut anytime. This one is not as weedy as the common brown one - which also means it’s not as easy freshly cut. I’m working on attaching 2 of these right now, but it’ll probably take a couple weeks.

    DBTC: Erin’s green toadstool

I no longer have these frags, but if you’re ok dealing with a fresh cut softy, I can cut one for you anytime.

    DBTC: Hawaiian anemone

I picked up 2 of these from @Dbilling707, in mid 2021. They have an interesting history, you can read the line about it here. I'm looking to get this to an established tank, I feel like these are an example of something pretty unique to our club that may never be available wild collected again...

    Free Orange Oxides

Pretty sure these are oxides, love ‘em. Would like to pick up a frag sometime after thanksgiving if there’s any left.

    Flatworm: pest or not??

I think there are few different kinds that pop up pretty often in our tanks, the ones I had, which looked like the ones in the pic, seemed to bother LPS and mushrooms more than SPS. IME: - flatworm exit will kill a lot of them, but either not all, or eggs remain, and they come back quick. -...

    120x36x36 build

Stopped by last night for a beer, which was great by the way, and the tank is looking pretty healthy.

    Damn, that sucks!

Potting soil spilled in reef tank

I think these types of fertilizer have decent amounts of ammonium nitrate and potassium phosphate in them. Would be interesting to see if this effected the phosphate and nitrate levels in the tank.

[Urgent] How to get current clownfish to accept a mate?

Yeah, this can be a tough one. Please take this for what it's worth, but IME (occi's and maroons) you'll need to take out the larger one and let the little one settle in, get comfortable and most importantly, get eating regularly. Give the little one a few days at least, more time is better...

    Green mantis shrimp

I was holding off responding to let @MolaMola have first chance at this guy, but if it doesn’t work out for her, I’d be happy to home it. I had a little mantis (haptosquilla glyptocercis) for a couple of years, and really liked it. I work in south San Francisco, so it’s pretty convenient for me...
