    Since you have several clams you might consider carbon dosing to reduce the nitrates. They will happily consume the bacteria produced (what doesn't get skimmed). Perhaps a little vinegar or vodka when you do you Mg dosing.

    So, 18 years or so? :p One chunk took a serious hit by being landed upon by a hydnophora. It appears it will only partially survive.

    Oak Barrel in Berkeley will also do 5lb refills. Atlas welding will as well though it is best to go when they are not busy as they will moan about 5lb refills.

    You may be best to just buying whole U35 gulf shrimp at Monterrey Fish and feeding him that. Even if he eats a lot it would still be a relatively cheap food source and it's probably as close to his natural diet as you can manage. I fed my reef lobster a huge variety of seafood out of concern...
