    * BERGHIA NUDIBRANCHS * DBTC

    Mike, In my breeder tank, 2 large fire worms were killing my adult and baby nudi's. But I think it was easier for them because it was such a small space in a pico. But in a main tank it would be harder for worms to go after them. Shrimp and Fish like wrasses will be a different story.

    They eat the whole thing to the rock or the glass. Nothing gets left. I've seen 1/2 size nudi take down a nickle size aiptasia by itself. I will try to take video shots today.

    I might, but it would also help if anyone picking up Nudis has a couple to donate ;), I've been feeding the Aipts to help multiply but damn Aiptasia assassins taking them out faster than they can produce. Debating on setting up another pico just for aiptasia growing, but not really trying to (...

    Yes you heard it. Berghia Nudibranchs I was successful in rearing a handful of these awesome Aiptasia assassins. I would like to donate several of these assassins to our lovely Reefing group. I will give several folks " 1 " nudibranch each. Size will be around 3/8th to 1/2" size nudi's that are...

    Need " AIPTASIA's "

    Checking if anyone has more Aiptasia in rubble rock they want to get ride off? Some of the egg masses I had hatched and the babies are growing and voracious. Will need to get a new batch of Aiptasia's or they starve if no more food within 5 days. Thanks. Here's a shot of them gang attacking...

    Has anyone tried macro extension tubes?

    Have extension tubes as well, hard to play with and very sensitive. Manual mode, small window to adjust and get best clarity with the photo your trying to take. You do have to get up REAL close to get a good shot

    Just found dinoflagellates, anyone with experience?

    I did the 7 days of darkness and hardly fed the tank, no water changes or dosing to ensure to starve the heck out of the dino's. 7 days or so later they turned to dust.

    Just found dinoflagellates, anyone with experience?

    Light and nutrients feed them. That's why a 7 day of darkenss erradicates them. From the couple times I dealt with them

    Sunscreen kill coral reefs in tourist areas

    Yep I've read about sunscreen issues for a long time now that sunscreen has been contributing to coral deaths especially in tourists places where sun screen is used a lot.
