I've never had experience, but I remember reading online that people have had success using nail clippers to clip them off or superglueing them shut. It's net hasn't really bothered anything in my tank so I let it be, but he has also doubled in size as well.

Hahahaha Agreed, amphipod. The anemone tank at my work that has two bta's and two clownfish was being overrun with those pods. You could see them grabbing pellets during feeding time. We added a wrasse and two weeks later, they are nowhere to be found haha.

Current FTS Photo was taken on iPhone 6. When viewing photo in album, I clicked on edit and used the "transfer" filter which removed a lot of the blue and made it look pretty decent. thought I'd pet that tip as I accidentally just stumbled across is.
