=) I choose 33. Ive been saving a spot in my tank for a pink lemonade..just havent felt like dishing the 100 bucks for a 3/4" frag yet hehe.

What lighting and flow requirements do these guys like? I just actually bought a piece a few days ago and am trying to decide on a good spot.

I agree that aquaconnects are quality bulbs. Well at least I hope so for the costs... However, what variable of the quality is producing better colors.. Par or kelvin rating?

Reefcrest is awesome. The one thing that is kinda annoying is that the knob has no indicator to how strong its set for.

Even if that is true, it is just a study of growth rate. It doesnt really show kelvin affects on color. I just switched to 14ks from 20ks and my colors have gotten way more intense. My change is from helios 20ks to aquaconnect 14k, so Im also making a huge jump in par. If the study is correct...

The leftmost jack on the controller goes to the power cable, the other one goes to the battery back up. The battery backup has two 12v connectors. You only need to connect one of them to back up a vortech. The 2nd one is for a 2nd vortech.

Both adaptors are always plugged in to the wireless controller. Wireless controller: 24volt-->power cable 12volt-->Battery Battery Backup 24v-->power cable 2x 12v-->connects to up to two vortechs

We should bring stuff like that along to the next tank tours...

Mines glowing green!

They seem to be able to morph drastically. I got my piece from Tongao a while back. He said it was bought as LengSy, but he lost the purple rim and white polyps. It looked like a plain old green monti in his tank. After a few months in my tank, it got the purple ring, white polyps and has ridges...

lol!

My tank is 18" width and I have lumenarc minis and T5s in there. You would need a hood to hide it all though.
