Yeah as long as you don’t go crazy with it you’re good. I work in research and it was for an experiment that involved nutrient control but that got pushed to the back burner. However I wanted to keep going with trying to get the bacteria nailed down in case they were to bring the experiment back.

Super late update but I have a little update. The scale up worked great but trying to get the recipe to a T is extremely difficult. Next process is doing what I can to simplify the process and try it without a shaker plate.

Hahaha the smell only lasts a little. Do it when they leave the house or say you just cleaned the skimmer lol. Sadly bacteria smells haha no way around that.

No, for culturing it needs consistent heat but so far seems pretty shelf stable. But that is also one of the things I’ll have to work on.
