I’d agree in my case too that it wasn’t 100% successful but it did help along with other techniques. I tried just dosing the water column and that wasn’t useful at all.

I’ve used peroxide to help with algae in my FW but haven’t needed to in my saltwater. It was most effective when dosed with a syringe directly on the problem areas. It didn’t effect fish or inverts at all.

Do you have any GSP left? I’d be happy to come to you to makes things easy if you have any to spare.

Thanks for sharing your story! One of the cooler parts of reefing are all the options to make your tank unique whether that’s FOWLR, coral, macro algae, etc along with the customization of the tank itself.

I get a lot of styrofoam containers that meds are shipped in. There small, maybe 12x8x8. I hate to throw them away and thought they might be useful for coral transportation (CFM this weekend) or shipping. I currently have 2 if anyone wants them. I’m in Walnut Creek area.

I can't wait either! This whole cycling process is dragging on but I didn't want to use any live rock because the LFS didn't have the healthiest looking tanks. It wasn't worth it to me to introduce something crazy to the tank before I even have fun with it.
