    Fish regret .. evil damsel

I'm an outlier here, because I like damsels  How big is your QT tank? Territorial fish can get a little extra worked up in a small space with lots of tank mates. I had azure's with chromis for quite a while, and my large chromis held his own against them with no issue. Order of addition to...

Coral reefer’s 360 gal system. 225 display and frag tanks

Me and my 75g hear you and feel your pain;)

    Damsel in distress.. *help*

I’d let him heal up and then try to find a new home for him. Once the other 2 have paired up, it’s probably going to be difficult to keep all 3 together long term, even in a decent size tank.

    First Reefing adventure.. 65G AIO

I'm going to offer my unsolicited opinion on a part of your fish stock list ;) If it were me, I'd plan on 2 azure damsels and 2 neon dottybacks instead of 3 of the damsels and one dottyback. Both of those can usually be paired - get a large and small one, QT them together (make sure you have...

    Peach Ricordia

Here’s a terrible iPhone pic of the 2 I have for the dbtc. The back-right one has some sand somebody dumped on it, but is totally fine. Both look to still be single polyps, with 2 mouths.

    Peach Ricordia

I have a couple of nice size peach with green and turquoise highlights, ricordia (Florida I think?) I'd like to start a chain with. I bought the original mother polyp at one of the Coral Formers markets a couple of years back, but I don't recall the vendor. Please contribute 2 good size...

    fire shrimp spawned

When I had fire shrimp, one of them was almost always carrying eggs (same for my cleaners later). My impression was they go through a series of larval stages before settling, and that it’s difficult to have them survive in an aquarium. If possible, I‘d try to save some of those and see how they...

    DBTC- Bam Bam zoanthids

If you’re not sure, no worries, just wanted to see if it looked familiar. @Dorfman, I’m in SF, and need to prune mine back. Can make a couple of frags if you don’t mind waiting another week or 2 for them to heal up.

    DBTC- Bam Bam zoanthids

I started one of these a while back, is it possible it came from this thread?

    Blue tip stag

They were both on my frag rack, which is a little lower than 200 par (“electric”mode, apogee MQ200). The one on the right is the garf bonsai . Once they settle in, they should color up a bit, and will look better under higher light, those mother colonies are both at about 300 par.

I have 2 well healed, encrusting frags of this ready to add to the chain. One is a single stick, the other, a branch with 3 points. @thesassyindian, if you'd still like one, let me know! Pick up at my place in SF/South of Market or possibly meet at my work in Redwood City.

    DBTC: Green tipped purple torch

    Want to borrow fish trap

I have one, originally from @xcaret, for club use. I can bring it to Redwood City where I work, or you can stop by my place in SF.

Coral reefer’s 360 gal system. 225 display and frag tanks

@BleepBloopMunchMunch told me about this. Haven‘t pulled the trigger yet, but may before summer hits. Was thinking it would be good for pumps, ato and maybe skimmer. Seems the power goes out more often when it’s warm, so was thinking less about heaters and lights.

    Blue tip stag

Yep, sure thing! We can work out pick details by pm or text. I actually have 2 ready to go right now, if someone else would like one too.

    Free fish!

Sounds good! I can also meet you half way, maybe Palo Alto or somewhere like that. No worries about waiting, not in a hurry and they’re doing fine. I’ll check in with you via PM in a couple of weeks.
