If you are in SJ area, Southern Lumber on Alma is great. A bit expensive but much better quality than HD or Lowes.

Just about any glass shop can cut any size you want. AMC glass on Monterey is pretty good but a little expensive. Fast Glass on Bascom is cheaper if you need a lot. OSH/HD/Lowes sell glass too but it's pretty thin.

I like Dell Latitude laptop. HP laptop isn't bad. If you want to keep the laptop running fast, don't install anything that pop up on the screen. I saw so many system that has 3-4 different tool bars install (google, yahoo, searchengine..... ). Do you really need them? Regular laptop are not...
