    127g Acrylic build

After cutting and putting together the pvc I decided i wanted to paint the piping gray rather than keeping the plane white. Bought some gray spray can paint at HD to match the gate valve color.

    127g Acrylic build

Since i already had a hole on the top right of the brace and preferred not having to drill another hole in the tank I went with a U shaped return nozzle.

    127g Acrylic build

Nov 22nd It was time to drill the tank and install the EXT overflow that i picked up from @Srt4eric. Although I’ve done it once on a glass tank with the help of Will i still wasn’t confident on doing it my self. The last thing i would want to do is drill it in the wrong place and mess up the...

    127g Acrylic build

I was unsure of what to use for the top of the stand as I didn’t want to use any type of plywood and starboard was pretty expensive. @boun11 recommended me to get MDO plywood so i went out and bought two sheets enough to cut for the top and bottom of the stand. Thanks Boun!

    127g Acrylic build

October 11th Started building the stand after the tanks been sitting for roughly 3 months on my apartment floor. Wasn’t in a rush to get it up and running. Found a guy in Oakland selling a big lot of 4040 Aluminum and built the stand out of that. He was nice enough to even cut it for me to make...

Waited a day or two for it to dry fully and water tested to make sure there were no visible signs of leaks.

    127g Acrylic build

Then came planning out how big i wanted the tank to be, although it was hard to decide i knew it couldn’t be too big since it was going in an apartment on the 3rd floor. I didn’t want to run the risk of the floor bowing since its a lot of weight for an apartment. In the end decided that it would...

    Baby Banghai

Nice explanation! Sounds like you have to be religious with timing on the feeding and consistency until they get to eating everything. I hope those fish find a good home.
