Just curious what people are doing with their MH ballasts. Are you mounting them in the stand? In the canopy? sitting behind the tank? etc... Right now I have my 2 sitting on little plexi platforms I made inside the stand. They are sitting about 3" above the floor of the stand in case there...

I got my overflows done by Tyler down at Dolphin Pet Village, he uses ABS plastic, I forgot the reason but whatever he said it sounded good. He did a great job on mine.

How big of a difference are we talking from a new Galaxy/Lumatek's ballasts compared to an HQI ballast?

I just put a Radium on a brand new Lumatek 250w digital, I also thought I heard that Radiums do not like magnetic ballasts. I'm pretty sure Jeremy told me the older icecap electronic ballasts will not fire a radium

No idea what it is still... How is the care? What's required?

UPDATE: Hasn't grown much, the green color has gone away and it is now all bright orange.
