    Update - I went ahead and increased the light duration from 4.75hrs to 9 hrs. Everyone seems to be happy. I am going to keep monitoring this tiny hair algae fluff to see much it proliferates. If everything goes well, I shall increase intensity from 10 to 15.

    No refugium atm. Previously I did not have macro algae in the tank. Now I have chaeto. I believe that is where the scar hangout. So you reckon the pods will grow within the chaeto? That would be really swell!

    @MichaelB - what is the advisable tank size for a pair of percula clowns? i had a pair in a 20g for a while along with a blue tang. i got the tank like that and folks were surprised that I was able to keep a blue tang in there for the life of the tank.
