This is one of my hammers spawning from when I first got into the hobby. Or pooping?

Upgraded my old GHL Doser 2.1 to 3.0 with the upgrade kit.

My former longed spine urchins released white stuff at 1615 in October. They made the water column cloudy. These ones munched on my corals.

Phosphorus dropped to 147 ppb (0.451 ppm Phos) from > 200 ppb after decreasing feedings on the auto fish feeder and skimming more wet. Nitrate 5.6. Gonna slightly increase the NH4 dosing.

I learned my lesson. I’ll try 3x 20 second feeds and see if the phosphates decrease.

Yes, I mixed in TDO pellets with Reef Jerky.

Just did some chemistry testing. 1/4/26 Alk 7.9 Nitrate 6.5 Phosphorus > 200 ppb (greater than analytical measuring range). I measured twice to rule out random error. was 20 ppb on 12/16/25 Recently, I was feeding heavy and dosing NH4 to increase my nutrients. I also added some dead rock...

    Thomas' CADE Reef 1500 S2

Bicarbonate in a 20g/L solution to about a 200g system volume tank. I started at 8mL/day and my nitrates went from 0 to 0.4 in about 1.5 weeks. I increased it to 10 mL/day recently. I’ll check next week and will increase it more. Perhaps my goal is 6-10 since my phos is around 0.06.

I started dosing NH4 as well since my nitrates have always been undetectable. My corals have responded well and have been gaining their color back over 2 weeks.

Added another Swallowtail, however she was a little beat up. Hopefully, she will recover. Hoping for the other Swallowtail to morph into a male.

Only if it was the Triton Others Method.. I'm switching to that method in the future.

Added a Swallowtail Angel fish and a baby Biota Golden Lined Rabbitfish. Didn't do my research on the rabbitfish when I bought it. It will be too big for my tank in the future.

I originally got this hammer around 2019 with 2-3 heads. This picture is from 2023 of the mother colony split into frags. The current colony is from one of these "frags."

Just added a Hydros start for more stability. I was using the Kasa powerstrip to control my ATO on/off before my scheduled AWC every morning, but sometimes it didn't turn off. This created 2 instances where I had to raise the salinity that lasted for like 3-4 weeks. Hydros Start Skimmer level...

The long spine urchins I had were causing damage to my SPS frags so I had to remove them. Also, I felt like they weren't eating the algae since they were too large to reach in the small crevices. I kept this urchin though.

Since my nitrate is also zero, I plan on buying more fish to increase the bio load. Just waiting for my wife to allow me to buy lol.

Yes, maybe i'll see how the coral grow with the high phos. If I see any negative effects, i'll try lowering phos. So far corals are doing fine. Torch polyps more extended when increasing my Gyres to 100%. Montipora growing back on the rock. Tubbs Stellata doing fine. Some tips got broken...

ALK steady at 7.5-8. Tested Phos and Nitrate for the first time (7/12/25): Phosphate = 0.334 ppm or 109 ppb Phosphorus (Hanna Phosphorus checker). Repeated test and it was about the same. Replaced the battery and brought new reagent to ensure it was accurate. Nitrate = 0 Kind of surprised...
