PIF: pulsing zenia, GPS, green toadstool, kenya tree

Thanks! I would love either a red planet or a blue Oregon. Of the two, my preference would be the blue Oregon. Let's do scheduling over DM.

    DBTC: Purple stylophora

Located in Oakland. If you don't have a journal showing that you are currently successfully keeping SPS, then I'll want to talk to you first about parameters.

DBTC: bubble gum digitata, purple stylophora

So I guess I did not understand how to properly use DBTC. These guys are each in their own thread now, with BARcode entries. Please enquire there.

PIF: pulsing zenia, GPS, green toadstool, kenya tree

Thank you for explaining. If I understand correctly, I just shared BARcodes for the two SPS that I have. Could you move this thread (for my soft corals) to PIF?

I guess I forgot to state where: must pick up in Oakland.

DBTC: bubble gum digitata, purple stylophora

Careless mistake in my original post: the other corals I'm giving away are softies, not LPS. https://www.bareefers.org/forum/threads/dbtc-pulsing-zenia-gps-green-toadstool-kenya-tree.30228/

PIF: pulsing zenia, GPS, green toadstool, kenya tree

I'm in a pruning phase and I'm happy to give away any of these. Can frag on demand. The last one I *think* is kenya tree, if not it's something that looks very similar. Pics below. I'm also giving away some SPS...

DBTC: bubble gum digitata, purple stylophora

These two are growing into each other, so I've started pruning them back. I have one rather large frag of each, but I need to make some more soon. Pics of the frags and the mother colonies below. Please have a tank journal with pictures. If you are not currently growing SPS, that's OK--these...

    Keith's 10 gallon mangrove tank

This is my new project. It's a 14" cube with an external overflow box. I want to plumb this into the sump of my Red Sea Reefer 250. My original motivation was that I'd like to add some mangroves and/or macro algae for nutrient control, and maybe get rid of my algae rector, but I couldn't figure...

What are these spots on my monti?

Update: have failed to find any nudibranchs. Patches are getting better. My best guess is that it got physically scraped or stung somehow, but the damage is not ongoing.

What are these spots on my monti?

@BAYMAC : Not actually a setosa. Completely encrusting. The "fingers" on the top are the shape of the frag I bought it on, some kind of rock cut into a square. But I'm hoping that it's close to what you say, a non-infectious issue.

What are these spots on my monti?

@H2OPlayar : Nope, nothing with sweepers is anywhere near it. @Kremis : Never dealt with those before. I'll have to research them. Is there a quick way to tell if I have them?

What are these spots on my monti?

Trying to figure out if I should be worried about my encrusting montipora. Overall looks very healthy--consistent growth, good color, good polyp extension. But it has a bunch of white dots on it. I wasn't too worried until I saw the larger white patch by one margin with filaments trailing off...

Keith's 55 gallon mixed reef tank

Added new frags from @Otakuthugster and @Scott Sweet. Thanks guys!

    FREE: Birds Nest

The frags are in their new home--thanks! It was great seeing your peninsula tank. Really cool setup.

    DBTC: Birds of Paradise

Thanks! I attached it to the rock, but per your recommendation, I put it in a somewhat shaded spot. Might move it after it recovers. Also, thank you for the styrofoam box! Great way to transport frags.

    DBTC: Orange setosa

Frag is in its new home. Just realized this photo has a perspective problem--it's not actually touching the xenia. Thanks!
