Yes, isolated. Like I said it's quite cryptic. I would see him every now and then poking his head out of caves. Rarely would I see him fully out of the cave walking around.

Great algae eater, but unfortunately as he's grown bigger he's outgrown my 20 gallon tank and now there isn't enough algae for him to eat. He has started nibbling my coral, so he has to go. Never had an issue with him eating coral when I had algae. Located in San Mateo.

Sadly the Green Slimer is toast. Went away for a week and it all the tissue had sloughed off. Weirdly the tort less than an inch away is totally fine.

For most of the time this tank was setup foolishly I was not testing nitrates or phosphates. Eventually I became dismayed that my SPS were growing at a glacial pace. I bought a Hanna ULR phosphate checker and found my phosphate was 1.2+ppm. I also realized my tanks pH was probably too low...

I have the same, also collected from Hawaii. I had a gold ring cowrie in the past for about a year, but broke down that tank. Here's my Hawaiian cowrie with mantle extended.

What ended up happening? I am in search of some Berghias. I'm in San Mateo, don't need that many as my tank is only 20 gallons.
