    Thomas' CADE Reef 1500 S2

Back after being away for over a month. Got a pretty crazy amount of algae on the glass but that's expected. Couldn't even see into the tank except for the spots under the pumps! Pretty much everything survived minus a couple turbo snails and a couple frags that got knocked over. Hair algae...

    Floating torch tentacles still sting?

Same goes for anemones. If they get into a power head you can have a big problem for sensitive corals.

Featured Volunteer thread for 6/22 frag swap

@Arvin R will probably have packs available to purchase (I'll let him confirm though). Most importantly your friend will need to sign up and register here as a supporting member. But you'll end up taking home wayyy more than 3 frags since a lot of us bring way more than 3 to share.

    Alex’s IM 150 EXT

The funny thing was Felix saying the pump has been a failure despite being really efficient, but it is super ugly and resembles a sex toy lol

    Eric's 125 build.

Yeah it definitely helps when I use night sight when taking actinic photos with an orange lens. Full spectrum the regular settings seem to work well.

    Eric's 125 build.

I was watching one of Than's videos and he said sometimes we actually are in a situation where there isn't much light (in comparison to daylight outside) and you can often benefit from using night settings on your camera depending on how blue you keep things. This works for corals of course but...

    Michael's 45 AIO Sandy Cube

You're the copperband whisperer, Michael might need to get in contact with you to get one that's eating.

    Michael's 45 AIO Sandy Cube

My yellow wrasse had zero interest in bristleworms. Copperbands however seemed to love to murder them.

    Sydney Aquarium

The main reef tank looked like an LFS sale tank though lol. The acanthos even were sitting on PVC.

    Sydney Aquarium

Had some free time in Sydney at the tail end of our honeymoon and visited the aquarium. The large fish exhibits were pretty huge and lots of the fish we keep were a good 2x larger: Dugong:

Introducing Coral Gardens for Online Corals and Fish

Just a heads up, the shop link from the main page is broken, works from the hamburger menu though. I figure most people will be shipping out here to the Bay Area, might want to include your DOA policy. Otherwise seems to work pretty smooth on mobile!

    A's 56g —> 186g mixed reef

Ah I thought that was a Queen/Tuka anthia cause of the nose shape! What are you feeding? If that's mysis I'm amazed it learned how to eat things that big. Really cool.

    A's 56g —> 186g mixed reef

That Sailfin looks like a jerk lol. How are the longnose and the copperband getting along? I figure they can't fight much if the tangs are going after them haha. Do you keep any clams in there? Tank is really coming along now! What's your current fish stocking list? There's so much variety in...

    AllYouCanReef RS250aio

Yeah it's varied for me. I've pulled off 10+year stuff from rocks like the breakdown I did recently. But I've had other stuff turn back into goo like this one from a swap: Different lots or expired batches, who knows.

    Michael's 300 In Vegas

Your report looked fine, even after hitting the tank with oxolinic acid, it's actually the rhodobacteraceae band not the pink one and you had a fair amount. The thing I'd like to see if it can replace Michael's vodka dosing and some lanth. But that would require a fair amount of testing lol.
