Another BTA Split Question

In an attempt to move my BTA to force my clowns to host it, I accidentally tore its foot, partially.

It was still sticky and it was a very tiny tear so I assumed it was ok. The BTA split in the middle overnight. It looked fine the past two days but now it looks like this.

Should I be concerned? Anything I should do in particular besides the basic good husbandry.

First photo is a pic of the tear before the split.

Second photo is one of the halves. The other half is hiding under the mag float.

Did it ever recover

That half did. It took awhile for the white bulge, I'm assuming it's the mouth, went away, but they are both fully healed and healthy.

Did do anything extra but separate them into a isolated box to heal and prevent them from roaming my tank.
