Anyone have problems ordering from Cherry Corals?

I ordered a couple acans last week from them, and when I called to confirm the purchase, the guy told me it would be available on Friday, the 19th. It's now Monday, the 22nd, and furthermore, I can't even get a hold of the person I talked to - all calls end up going to voicemail.

Has anyone had a similar experience? If not, could someone vouch for this website, just to ease my mind.
 
ive never heard anything bad about them, i think eight ordered some acans from them a while back also. he didnt mention anything bad that i know of..

I doubt they sent it for an "over weekend" trip. That's pretty much unheard of typically :)
 
Nah, they only do next day deliveries. And it looks like they have Saturday deliveries now too.

But, I think I finally settled this issue :) One of the guys eventually got back to me, and it seems like my order was never shipped for some reason. I rescheduled with them, so hopefully everything will be right this time.
 
I ordered some zoas from them awhile back, and the frags that arrived looked prettymuch nothing like the photos (I was, shall we say, ticked, at this) ... I mounted the frags and drew a big black X across their name on my "OK Vendors" list.

Now it's a few months later, and while these zoas have morphed and grown and look different than they did when I first got em, and different than CC's pix, they look WAY WAY better than the photos. So, good vendor, good corals. They respond well to emails and paypal payment notices. :)
 
I've ordered quite a bit from them. Very good experiences... I think the can be a little slow to respond, but they're a good solid shop. They are a sponsor on RC.
 
Update:
I received my frags from Cherry Corals on Wednesday :bigsmile: Although put off by my order not being initially shipped :~ , I'm pretty happy about the condition they came in. Packaging minimized coral stress, the corals themselves looked happy and plump after a day, and additional "half" frags were included at no cost.

LoL...coming soon. I'll post 'em in my tank journal. I'm just lagging 'cause I got a fairly big update; I ended up tearing down my tank at the beginning of last week, so I have to get some pics of the new setup.

The blues aren't that crisp on either of mine yet, but I can see their potential.
 
Oh, btw...I received a $40 discount upon ordering for some reason, so shipping was basically free. Don't know why I got it, but I can't question a good thing, can I?
