I loved Ocean treasures and it was my favorite place for a long time. Since it went under I have been going to aquatic central for my water needs. I finally decided to go AQUATIC COLLECTION IN HAYWARD last weekend and, holy crap batman, I was really impressed. just so the readers know I have been to just about every fish store from SF, dublin, emeryville, san jose, san mateo, milpitas, hayward, and as far as Sacramento and I've never seen so many healthy and beautiful corals in a single place. I don't mean to down play or knock any other store with this, but seriously I ended up buying over 600 dollars worth of corals in the three days I have been there, where at any other place I would have paid well over 2000 for the amount, size, color, and quality of the pieces I got. I mean full colonies of blastomussas, crazy colored favias, and chalices I have never even seen before for prices that would amaze anyone. they have a tank of frags of all kinds that are 45 dollars each, when you buy 5 you pay only 150. some of the chalices had over 5 eyes and almost every other store I have gone to would have charged over 100 per eye or frag. I can't believe I didn't know about this place. If you don't know about it or know about and haven't been like myself, you are only hurting yourself and your wallet. Please do yourself a favor and go there. I promise you won't be disappointed. They even sell full colonies of corals where most places wouldn't dare to. I even brought in a coral to identify and they new what it was out the gates. I left the piece in question at Ocean Treasures for over 6 months and I asked hella people and nobody had a clue. Joe and Carson really know there $h!t, they are very friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable about the corals they have and don't have. All in all if you are interested in buying extremely healthy corals for the best prices in the bay and greater bay area then give AQUATIC COLLECTION IN HAYWARD a visit and let me know what you think. Thanks guys for the sick ass corals and thanks for finally identifying my coral that I have had for over 6 years that no one could identify.
