I wouldn't. I've had Biota Yellow Tangs get ich while in an sterile observation tank. Biota also recommends you to QT.

Yes, but I can't trust my Gem Tang or Purple Tang not to beat them up! Haha. I would need to place him in my 60g for a long time until it gets big enough to hold its own with the other tangs.

Besides, I can just break into SupraSalty's garage and make off with all the tangs I want. Hahahaha.
