Came home from the long Memorial day weekend to 3 bleached OG bounces. Rest of the shrooms in the tank are okay for now. Decided to try an experiment to see which works better. Luckily I picked up this dosing container from CFM which works perfectly for this experiment. I’ve been successful using Chemiclean (Erythromycin) before. Chemiclean vs Cipro vs Oxolinic Acid, let’s see how this goes….Has anyone been successful in saving bleached OGs? What was your process?
Disclaimer: I don't have a science degree or anything lol, just using my general knowledge from what I've read on social media, forums and YouTube.
Process:
1. Each section was filled with 2000ml of fresh mixed saltwater. Instant Ocean Purple lid salt was used.
2. I used 3 scoops of Chemiclean and 3 scoops Oxolinic Acid for their assigned compartments.
3. For Cipro I diluted a 500mg pill into 2000ml of the fresh mixed saltwater and divided it into 7 separate water bottles. I plan to dose for 7 consecutive days. Not sure if I'll do a water change or not.
4. I added a air stone to each compartment for flow so the antibiotics doesn't settle on the bottom.
5. I plan to add a LED light and keep it around 50-70PAR
6. Water temp will be kept at 78 degrees.
