Since there are specific requirements like tank size, stocked corals, and because fish can spread disease depending on the tank, my suggestion is that you keep it and lend it out to people who you think it will work well for and who will work well for it.I have an australian stripey and would like to donate him as a club equipment. He has been through 4-5 tanks and obliterated all the aiptasias.
Your thoughts? Rules, requirements. etc.,
Agreed, PIF is a better forum for it, but of course you can be selective who you give it to (e.g. an established reefer vs. a guest with 1 post).Since there are specific requirements like tank size, stocked corals, and because fish can spread disease depending on the tank, my suggestion is that you keep it and lend it out to people who you think it will work well for and who will work well for it.
Based on experience we’ve had with lending out other utility fish and inverts, I think if you make it a club-organized item it will only last about 1-2 tanks.
