Coral Banded Shrimp - Pinchers fell off???

I just added him to my nano tank and within 2hrs he dropped both of his boxing pinchers??? WTF? Nothing in that tank could have pulled them off. I've had bad luck with this Nano.. seems everytime I try to add something it freaks out and dies whatever? Did a water change prior to adding them, and my camel shrimp and maroon clown seem fine. Why then did this shrimp drop his pinchers?

What did you use to put him in to the tank?

floated him, adding tank water to the bag, then after 30 minutes scooped him up and dropped him in using my hands

Hmmm... I dunno. 30 minutes seems a bit short for inverts. I usually do drip aclimation for an hour when it comes to inverts.

Happened in my sons tank, no worries they grow back with the next molt

Yeah normally for inverts and fish its best to drip acclimate. Inverts especially as they are more sensitive to changes than fish.
