I just added King Midas zoa to DBTC.

Request a frag to be notified when they are available.

I should probably start writing down the rules. Until I come up with a better set, I'm going to be stealing from @MarcosD with some tweaks

Standard DBTC rules

Rules:
1. Must have been a supporting active BAR member for 3 months (90 days)
2. At least two frags of equal or greater size must be offered before doing what you wish with everything after that
3. If you sell a frag before completing your links, the club and myself will remember you and you will have a hard time receiving future DBTC
4. Must have a journal that's been updated within the last year
5. If something happens to mine, I’ll go next in line for a replacement

This will not be first come, first served. BARcode is to let me know you're interested.

Two more pics from ages ago. Under full blues it gets a tint of green, under slightly fuller spectrum you get that nice yellow that's characteristic of this zoa

On another note, I should probably start wearing a mask when I frag zoas. Every time I don't, I regret it a few hours later lol. We'll see if I'm fine later today

Oh the Palytoxin isn't good? or something else about fragging zoas?

What does it feel like lol? I’ve been too scared to frag zoas

It's a little different for everyone. For me, usually a mild headache and I feel queasy for a little bit, goes away with a tylenol. I don't get the metallic taste in mouth. Worst time was when I messed with actual Palythoa genus corals at the store - big headache for most of the next day. Probably avoidable if I'd remembered to wear mask and gloves.

Sidebar: If you have a skimmer, turn it off if you plan on doing anything with zoas or palys, but palys in particular. The skimmer will aerosolize tank water, and can get enough palytoxin in the air to cause harmful effects. Getting yourself sick sucks, but keep your family and pets safe.

I've never felt anything but don't take that to mean I'm in anyway saying it's safe to play with Palythoas and zoas with educating your self first.

I frag zoas but I never frag any Palythoas.
