Do I have enough live rock for 2 Tangs and a couple Triggers in my Reefer 170?

Tangs need room to swim…less rock
BUT they do like to hide

fish are most at ease when they don’t feel exposed and vulnerable
I'm pretty sure as long as they have 1 lbs per liter of rock they'll not be too exposed. I also have a Google speaker next to it. I was going to use ChatGPT to produce a combination of Dr. Oz advice tailored for fish. I'd do that in the evenings and play ocean sounds during the day to help them feel it's bigger than it is. Maybe even a little ocean picture too!

Petsmart told me 1" of fish per gallon is a good rule. If you have 34 gallons display, you can have 34 inches of tangs so ~4 to 6 tangs will be no problem :p

I'm pretty sure the 1in per gallon is a conservative estimate so given that you calculated 4-6, I'd say he's easily good for 10. ;)

Tangs are a schooling fish, so you want at least 10 in your tank.

Who is going to help the newbies out and tell them this thread is sarcasm at its best?

Edit: This is the best advice on the forum, everyone should listen to these experts
