Fallow reset if I add dead/dry rock (like marco rocks)?

I was wondering if I have to reset my days running a tank fallow if I just add some marco rocks?

I really don't think I would, but just wondering if ich can survive on dead rocks indefinitely or something weird like that.

No, you would not need to reset, assuming the rock was dry.
