Fish suggestions for clown tank mates

I have a IM 20 gallon tank and it's been housing a clown pair for about 6 months now. The pair has been mated for about one and half year over all. Apart from that it has a fire shrimp, emerald crab and 5 snails.

Planning to add one or two more small fish to this tank. Looking for suggestions (is it even a idea worth considering?)

Secondly, how should introduce the new fish. I am not too keen on moving the rockwork since my corals are settled well at their positions. What would be an alternative strategy for it?

With clowns you should be ok. They tend to keep to them selves.

I’d say something like a royal gamma, fire fish, or cardinal

20g doesn't give you much room to work with. Almost every fish gets along with a clown just gonna have to keep it small

A lot of times clowns are gonna be territorial in that size tank with almost anything you try to add...good luck. What kind of clowns?

If they are Maroon Clowns the one thing you don't want to put in the tank with them is your hand.

I too have an IM20. Started with paired clowns. Month later added a purple firefish. Doing great but a little shy. 2 months after firefish i added a pigmy angelfish. Doing Awsome. He thinks he's a clown fish. HE sleeps in the toadstool with them. 2 months after angel i added a mexican barnacle blenny. He's a Character.

Mite be lucky but everyone i added is doing great and got along as soon as I introduced them.

Very tight lid. Non aggressive tankmates or you'll rarely see them.

I didn’t have an issue with jumping but that might have been due to the more aggressive tank mates (a few tangs and such). The only time I really saw them was at feeding time.
