I have an old school Sunlight Supply Teklight fixture that has two internal ballast. It holds 8 T5HO bulbs.

I have replaced the ballasts in the past, you can buy them from Home Depot (Phillips Advantage).
I used it up until 1 year ago, then I switched to DIY LED.
I vaguely recall one of the ballast was not working properly, and I replaced it. But there may have still been something odd with it.
That said, if you are DIY and want to experiment, this is for free.
Also, if you have LED strip replacements that will fit into 48" T5HO sockets, that is another way to use this enclosure.
I no longer have a 48"x24" footprint tank, so can't use it at all.
8-bulb T5HO is great over a 48"x24" tank. It grew corals great including SPS.
