I just got back from High Tide (@Alexander1312 ;)). Here are the numbers.

Nitrate - 3.1
Phosphate - 0.39

i also noticed the same stuff on the sand that I have in my tank in all of Kenny's tanks. upon chatting with kenny, it looks like i need more CUC. but wanted to present it here first =D

You can definitely trust Kenny's advice, he's honest to the point of being blunt. If you don't need something he will straight up tell you that you don't need that crap lol. Now if you still want something that he thinks you don't need he will sell it to you.

He's extremely knowledgeable and I've got advice from him several times. He's not the typical guy at the random fish store just out to sale you something. He's a very passionate hobbyist himself.

I agree with more clean up crew over time. Don't add to many at once so they won't starve. Add a few each week or every other week until you reach the adquate amount per your tank size and bioload.

Added 5 trochus snails to eat up the GHA and they are having a blast. One of the peppermint shrimp reappeared long enough for me to feed it.

@Kensington Reefer - temp is 77F. Thanks for the advice. The nem has opened up wider and I think it is the temp.

Probably by next month, I shall start a tank journal.
