you name it I got it, don't know if you remember when my tank crashed a couple months ago, well I lost most of my fish and they were keeping the Monti eating nudis at bay so I had a major outbreak, I have those under control, still finding a few here and their but not bad. Then I had some receding on my sps, so I took a plug and frag to Ming(he is a dentist with an awesome tank and EXPENSIVE microscope) and he found red bugs, AEFW, and reg. flat works and of course nudis, so im dipping in revive every week. He told me about the Coral RX but had never used it and cant find it. I have a tab of interceptor but if it wont take care of everything I would rather not use it and wipe out my inverts.
Im thinking about just taking the whole tank down and starting fresh with my 180. I don't know, as soon as I get things right something else pops up. Oh yeh I almost forgot about the hair algae
Thanks for the link, read it and heres what I have.
30g tank w/ coast to coast overflow, going onto 2 separate 10g sumps, 1 has a skimmer rated for a 110g tank and as much rock that I can fit in it and it flows into the other sump, the 2nd sump has a filter sock in the 1st chamber the middle has rock and cheato and then a bubble trap, I also have a phosphate reactor. As far as I can tell most of what was mentioned in the link I have covered as far as water quality. This tank is almost a year old and its almost always had a LITTLE hair algae in it very little but in the last few weeks it spreading and getting longer.
I will try the toothbrush while siphoning and change the media in the phosban.
some one ion the link mentioned Purigen, I have several bottles if won in raffles, is it any good would it help with this?
