so my hammer has dropped two heads in the last two months, each is about 1" in diameter when extended. The first time I thought it simply broke off, but is it self proping like how a leather pinches off arms?
Its interesting, the dropped heads have embedded into the sand at the bottom of the tank, and over the last couple days have had AMAZING extension, like 200% longer then the mother coral, they are really reaching for light or looking for food.
