Hey everyone!! Happy to be here.Excited to learn and gain knowledge through everyone's experiences. We've always been fascinated by the vibrant and mesmerizing world of a mixed reef tank and have been researching for a year or so prior to feeling ready to establish our own.
So, this is our first saltwater tank! Its a 24 gallon Aquatop. It's been 3 months and all of our frags and inverts look well! We may start a tank journal to document our journey so won't go into too much detail on our introduction.
A little about us: we're a small family here in the eastbay. To get to know us, here are some of our other passions and projects we have been working on:
Getting the garden ready for the season! We currently have 30+ heirloom plants (tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, squash, lettuce, herbs, flowers etc.) grown from seed that we're getting ready to transplant outside for spring!
Always happy to share some starters or seeds if anyone is interested.
We're always wrenching as well lol it's a big passion! Maintaining and fixing our cars/trucks, we've had everything from a camper AWD Astrovan, an AP1 S2K, a boosted single cam EG hatch in 2006, to the big 7.3 international diesel in the F350, just to list a few. Hopefully this helps you get a gist of us since we're hoping to become full members soon.
