Hidden Camera Help

T's Mom has a new caregiver and we want to keep an eye on things at the house. What is the easiest way to have a camera or two to make sure she's treated well. She is in the last stages of Alzheimers and can't talk. Anyone have experience with specific cameras and methods of monitoring them (recording). Might be similar to tank cams that some of you have?? Any legal problems with this idea?

There are some really realistic looking hidden cameras out there. Like a real clock or a picture frame with a hidden camera with a pinhole. The one I'd buy though is the one that looks like a fire alarm. You can place it up high and nobody really notices fire alarms.

It is not hidden, but Costco sells units made by Q-See that are great. For about $250, you have a system that has 4 night/day cameras, and you can set it up to view over the internet. They also have a DVR unit for about $100.
