So I think I am ready but I want to run it by everybody first. My tanks has been running 10-11 months. I am running a 150w MH over 12 gallons (plenty of light) and my water chem is Sg 1.023, NH3 0, NO2 0, NO3 5, PH 8.2-8.3 small fluctuation, CA2 420, DKH 8, PO4 0.

Any reason I am not ready to get a small clam???
 
No reason I can think of. Go for it! Just be sure to get a healthy one.

I've had a crocea for a while now. It's doing great and is one of my favorite animals in the tank!
 
i got a clam i`ll sell you. i`m about to shut down my tank. hes been doing great for over a year. he was on the bottom of my tank so he whitened up a lil bit but he is coloring up well. has purple edge on the mantle. shell is almost covered in coraline. i dunno what color it would be under MH but its like a greenish brown under PC. 30$. shell is a good 4 or 5 inches end to end. i bought it for like 30 or 35$. its a good sample clam.
