This is why Robert is a real one and gives good advice. Dip everything!Very real problem still. Don’t trust any shop. I’d recommend dip and quarantine your SPS before going into your main tank.

I remember. Some of us are still here.Hey Robert, remember me Wayland?
I used to come in all the time buying frags.
Those were good times so much fun don’t know what I’m gonna get and that was the excitement.
I’m planning to start a tank again.
I just don’t know how much time I have left and hopefully get it going.
That’s rough, any easy OTC dip recommendations? Kung fu is great, but getting the necessary ingredients can be challenging.Very real problem still. Don’t trust any shop. I’d recommend dip and quarantine your SPS before going into your main tank.
KFC dip isn’t really meant for killing parasites, in fact I don’t think it would even kill AEFW.That’s rough, any easy OTC dip recommendations? Kung fu is great, but getting the necessary ingredients can be challenging.

Yes, Potassium Chloride is very effective dip for AEFW. One branded version it Reef Primer by Polyp Lab. I am using primarily this method for newly imported SPS. It’s a lot less stressful for the corals but deadly effective on all sorts of pests. It won’t kill their eggs though so you’ll have to dip at least 4-5 consecutive times to break the egg cycles.KFC dip isn’t really meant for killing parasites, in fact I don’t think it would even kill AEFW.
Most regular coral dips do though, a lot of us prefer KCl - it has been discussed in several threads recently.
NP….. it’s been awhile and you have a lot of customers.Hey Wayland…don’t take it the wrong way but I can’t even remember what I had for breakfast yesterday or if I took a number two. I am sure it will come back to me if I see you again though…
